How Fast Do You Fly? How High?

Good Question! Glad You Asked...

Most aerial application occurs at about 8-12 feet above the crop at speeds from 115 to 150 mph. Some aircraft are slower than that, and some faster, but that is the most common range of speeds. In the turns, the aircraft is slowed to slightly above stall speed, because slower speeds result in faster turns. This is why the aircraft zoom up to turn: the steep climb reduces airspeed quickly.



Are Aerial Nozzles the Same as Ground Applications?

No. These are two entirely different technologies, because the working environment is completely different......every droplet....more later
